Tunnel Metal Detector
With user-friendly features and versatile capabilities, the X8 Metal Detector is designed to suit any in-line processing application where space is limited and accuracy is essential. This head unit features a large touchscreen interface and dynamic features catered to the user.
For more demanding applications, the X8-SF Metal Detector uses simultaneous frequency technology to improve detection in conductive material such as meat, poultry, and dairy products. Items with high salt, moisture, or added mineral content are able to be scanned thoroughly, in addition to iron-fortified or nutritionally enhanced products. Reduce false rejections due to “product effect” variations. Deliver repeatable detection while enhancing assurance at the metal detector critical control point (CCP).
Tunnel Metal Detector with Conveyor
Pair our X8 or X8-SF technology with a durable conveyor for continuous processing to quickly integrate with existing processing flows and inspection checkpoints. Vertical, Form, Fill & Seal (VFFS)
The Eriez VFFS metal detector units are designed to mount into space-restricted areas below Vertical Form, Fill & Seal machines. With its innovative design, the VFFS Metal Detector connects to a customer's existing stainless steel hopper and forming tube with simple Jacobs connectors.
This compact unit requires no metal-free area above or below the sensing head. Its control circuitry allows for instantaneous electronic recovery from phase adjustments, as well as field switchable narrow zone/wide zone detection capabilities. All VFFS Metal Detectors offer the same full color, intuitive icon-driven controls as Eriez' other Eriez Metal Detector systems. Available in 76 mm (3"), 102 mm (4"), 152 mm (6"), 203 mm (8"), and 254 mm (10") aperture sizes to meet practically any application need.
Liquid Line Metal Detector
Eriez’ X8 Liquid Line Metal Detector systems are designed for liquids, pastes, slurries or other viscous products where high-sensitivity metal detection is required. The system can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Available in pipe sizes 38–10 mm (1.5–4") diameter. When metal is detected in the product flow, a reject signal is channeled to one of the available output relays. The output relay can be used to activate a ball valve, control a visual or audio alarm, or send a signal to a PLC.
Webline Metal Detector
Eriez’ Webline Metal Detectors are engineered for use on web or sheet applications. This unit is particularly effective for detecting metallic contaminants in wide, thin products, such as plastics, rubber, wood, woven materials and particle board. The narrow profile and micro metal-free area of the unit permits it to be installed in areas with limited space and with little isolation of any surrounding equipment.

Vertical Low Profile Systems
The X8 Vertical Drop Metal Detectors are engineered for use in gravity free-fall applications. They are constructed of 316 stainless steel and include an Eriez detector with remotely housed electronics, support plate and diverter valve.
