Technical Sales Representative - Heavy Equipment Sales

Required Qualifications:

  • Four-year Degree, Bachelor of Science, Business Management, Engineering or equivalent related experience.
  • Two – Three (2-3) years sales/marketing experience, preferably industrial equipment in process industries preferred.
  • Ability to work with people at customer, representative and inside levels with little
  • Excellent communication skills including business and technical writing. Considerable telephone work.
  • Ability to handle details of equipment sales, including commercial and technical issues and work effectively under pressure.
  • Must be willing to travel (approximately 25 - 30%) as necessary.
  • Experience with word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Duties:

  • Work closely with representatives and customers by phone, mail, and in person to solve problems.
  • Recommend and price the appropriate equipment for the customer’s application.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Technical Center personnel to solve application problems.
  • Travel with field representatives and make sales calls and sales presentations to get orders for Eriez’ equipment.
  • Train customers and new reps in pricing and applying Eriez equipment.
  • Work with customers on solving application problems.
  • Entertain and act as guide during representative and customer visits, including coordinating lab tests and sales training sessions.
  • Occasionally make start-up and service calls.
  • Act as liaison between customers and reps in the field and various Eriez’ home office departments.
  • Work overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Market Manager, Heavy Industries.

Burner - 2nd Shift (Asbury Road Facility)

Requirements:

  • Able to set-up and operate CNC Laser and Plasma Burner and saws.
  • Able to follow work list using Shop Packets.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, routings and picklists.
  • Able to use shop math including geometry, with some knowledge of flat layout and sheetmetal fabrication.
  • Able to use measuring tools to verify accuracy of cut materials.
  • Able to use computer system to retrieve and enter data.
  • Able to identify raw materials, i.e. hot rolled, cold-rolled, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, etc.
  • Some familiarity with AutoCAD and associated software.

Duties:

  • Set-up and operate all burning equipment and saws as required.
  • Retrieve and replace inventory (raw materials) as required, protecting the inventory integrity of the inventory management system, including cycle counts.
  • Work through supervisor to maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Work through supervisor to make necessary drawing and/or routing changes as required.
  • Cleaning operations on materials as required using countersinks, grinders, sanders, files, solvents, etc.
  • Basic welding skills may be required.
  • Issue and deliver raw material items as required
  • Load and unload trucks as required.
  • Keep equipment clean and in good service.
  • Maintain safe work area and habits.
  • Perform similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Magnetic Assembler - 2nd Shift (Asbury Road Facility)

 

Duties:

  • Cut and form materials as required.
  • Plan work priority to meet shipment dates.
  • Use various epoxy materials as required.
  • Complete assembly of assigned products.
  • Charge assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Work with and handle RE Magnets.
  • Operate various hand tools including, grinders, forming equipment, spot welder, drill press, and other tools and equipment necessary to complete assembly.
  • Assist utility assemblers when assigned.
  • Clean and de-burr assemblies before paint.
  • Keep assigned area neat and orderly.
  • Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

 

Requirements:

  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Able to read and understand written instructions.
  • Able to use basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals and fractions.

Junior Application Developer/IT Specialist

 

Eriez Manufacturing is seeking a temporary Junior Application Developer / IT Specialist. This person will be a member of a growing IT team focused on enhancing the capabilities for the company. This person will be working with IT and other Business members to enhance, maintain and monitor Eriez web applications. There will also be an additional need to monitor and document other IT operational systems and maintain records.

 

Duties:

  • Work with the IT group and Business members to develop enhancements for existing web applications.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot issues with existing Eriez web applications.
  • Create or enhance documentation to related to Eriez web applications.
  • Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
  • Perform user acceptance testing.
  • Perform record management and other operational tasks.

 

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate experience with C#, ASP.NET, HTML, Javascript, CSS

Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist will maintain the content on all Eriez global websites and digital platforms, manage tracking and reporting tools, keeping Eriez’ presence engaging, on-brand and up to date. Responsible for executing and managing the integrated campaigns which include Pay-per-Click, Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing. Also responsible for assimilating data from multiple sources, compiling the information and drawing actionable conclusions that can be measured and reported. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be relied upon to recommend long term plans related to Eriez websites and make proactive recommendations based on analysis.

 

Duties:

  • Maintain content on multiple Eriez global websites and digital platforms
  • Google Analytics expertise – review data and make recommendations, create events, identify key metrics and track performance
  • Ongoing organic optimization of content based on analysis of Keyword Search reports
  • Work with marketing teams, global sales, product and market managers to regularly update website subject matter
  • Pay Per Click (PPC) program execution based on the company’s strategic marketing plan, analyzing results regularly and adjusting to maximize our budget and performance in search results, display ads and remarketing
  • Website technical management, including: metatags, location tags, canonical tags. Analyze needs and make changes.
  • Provide regular reporting on sites, campaigns and other marketing metrics to management.
  • Collect, analyze and report on customer engagement and site performance monthly
  • Stay on top of Google algorithm changes and best practices, make necessary changes to improve site performance
  • Perform research on competitors’ digital platforms and make change recommendations for our sites.
  • Perform regular site audits and tests.
  • Improve outlying Eriez websites (Flotation, Lab Equipment) or integrate them into the current CMS.

Welder - 2nd Shift

 

Duties:

  1. Use various welding machines (Mig, Tig, and Flux Core) and welding filler materials as directed.
  2. Perform work required with minimal amount of supervision.
  3. Make proper settings on machines.
  4. Use torch equipment for burning, heating, brazing and soldering.
  5. Use grinders, chippers, sanders and other small tools.
  6. Keep work station clean and orderly.
  7. Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  8. Work with heavy and large objects.

 

Responsibilites:

  1. Able to read and interpret complicated engineering drawings.
  2. Able to use basic shop math including fractions and decimals.
  3. Minimum of three years welding experience or completion of a certified welding course.
  4. Able to use required measuring instruments.
  5. Able to make simple layouts.
  6. Proficient in all FLUX CORE Welding procedures.
  7. Able to pass a Weld Test

 

Product Structure Analyst

 

Specific responsibilities include creating and maintaining Eriez product master routings, bill of materials, and item masters within the ERP/MRP business system. Maintains system information integrity and uniformity. Processes Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to support operations.

Leader in establishing manufacturing/assembly processes, labor hours, and process documentation. Effectively manages multiple work requests and balances competing priorities to complete assigned tasks. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in day to day activities. Investigates identified work flow and work center selection issues and processes feedback to update routings and bill of material files. Represents the interest of Production Control Structuring on cross-functional teams.

 

Duties:

  1. Interprets and translates source document information to define product configurations and item master descriptions.
  2. Assigns appropriate Eriez part numbers, associated classifications and MRP codes.
  3. Creates and maintains master bills of material and routings (work instructions) from drawings to support production for effective and efficient manufacturing.
  4. Supports completion of ECN’s (Engineering Change Notices) by updating the master bill of material and routings.
  5. Training and mentoring of other personnel within the PC department on manufacturing processes and work flow.
  6. Work independently with minimal supervision.
  7. Accountable for managing assignments to meet project completion dates.
  8. Utilize computer-based manufacturing control programs to perform job functions.
  9. Maintain accurate and uniform database of routings, bills of material and item masters.
  10. Interface and clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the Eriez organization.
  11. Completes other job related assignments as assigned by supervisor.

 

Requirements:

  1. A minimum education level of an Associate Degree in one of the following:
  2. Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  3. A Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering preferred. (At Eriez discretion equivalent certifications or experience may be considered).
  4. A strong knowledge of various manufacturing processes and equipment in order to convert engineered drawings to sequenced labor operations and time requirements (routings) both in-house and utilizing sub-contracting.
  5. A robust knowledge of raw materials and their applications. The ability to propose alternate materials for time/cost savings.
  6. A solid understanding of MRP, strong computer aptitude, and excellent math skills.
  7. Excellent retention of information skills and the ability to mentor other personnel within the PC department.
  8. The capability to delineate and complete special projects as requested.
  9. Willingness to pursue additional education.

Digital Signal Process Software Engineer

 

Duties:

  1. Design, write, and debug software for industrial inspection, sorting, and measurement equipment using various platforms such as Windows and other embedded systems.
  2. Design, write, and debus software running on a PC to provide various functionalities including ability to communicate to equipment and software to test circuit boards.
  3. Understand and design complex algorithms to analyze signals from inspection and other measurement equipment.
  4. Control hardware to acquire signals with microsecond resolution and provide reject timing with millisecond resolution.
  5. Use version control software and clearly document changes.
  6. Manage portions of projects.
  7. Evaluate new technologies to help expand and enhance current product offerings.
  8. Develop documentation for use by engineering, sales, manufacturing, government, suppliers, and customers.
  9. Work with customers to help solve field equipment problems.
  10. Provide other similar and related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

 

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering.
  2. Experience programming in C, C++, and Visual C++. C# is also desirable.
  3. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing, troubleshooting, and testing real-time deteterministic programs on a Windows based platform and other embedded platforms.
  4. Must be able to learn all and have relevant experience specializing in at least one of the following:
  5. Multi-threaded and interrupt driven programs.
  6. Digital signal processing techniques.
  7. Networking and integrating equipment.
  8. Creating intuitive graphical user interfaces (GUIs) on a Windows platform.
  9. Proficient using oscilloscopes, volt meters, and other electronic test equipment.
  10. Able to read circuit schematics.
  11. Capable of taking full responsibility for a product development project from inception to completion.

Software Engineer

 

Duties:

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering.
  2. Minimum 5 years experience programming, developing and debugging software for a Windows PC environment using C# and Visual C++.
  3. Minimum 5 years with experience programming, developing and debugging software for real time deterministic systems with an embedded microcontroller using C, C++, and assembler programming languages.
  4. Experience with embedded systems using RTOS, and systems with no operating system.
  5. Experience with Digital Signal Processing techniques is highly desireable.

Research and Development Magnet Design Engineer

 

Duties:

  1. Design permanent magnet circuits, electro-magnet circuits, and electro-permanent magnet circuits for magnetic separation equipment, vibratory conveying equipment, and magnamation equipment.
  2. Construct 2-d and 3-d magnetic models of new and existing magnet circuits using INFOLYTICA FEA software to evaluate circuit performance (static and dynamic).
  3. Evaluate power requirements and thermal effects for static and dynamic operation of magnetic separation equipment due to eddy currents and operating heat losses. 
  4. Evaluate and specify permanent magnet materials for magnet circuits
  5. Conduct lab tests to verify magnet circuit designs
  6. Evaluate magnet vendors and provide test procedures to inspect new magnet materials
  7. Work with the Central Test Lab to ensure that magnetic separation tests conducted on lab equipment will simulate actual field operation with thermal losses.   
  8. Provide technical support to Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service for new and existing magnetic product lines. 
  9. Provide technical assistance to the Sales Department for field application  
  10. Perform other duties as specified by immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

  1. Possess a strong analytical background with the ability to mathematically model static and dynamic system
  2. Possess the knowledge of fundamental principles of electro-magnet design
  3. Possess the knowledge of fundamental principles of permanent magnet design
  4. Possess the ability to mathematically analyze magnetic circuits using textbook solutions and FEA tools.
  5. Possess the “hands-on” skills to set-up and test prototype magnetic circuits
  6. Possess experience in designing and manufacturing oil filled, potted, and dry magnet coils, including experience with coil winding processes
  7. Possess good communication and technical writing skills
  8. Work in a team environment on R&D projects that lead to new and improved product lines
  9. Willing to travel up to 10% 

Education:

Position requires a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience in magnet circuit design.
