Utility Assembler (Fluid Recycling)

Job Summary:

The Utility Assembler (Fluid Recycling) will use specialized tools/fixtures, both electrical and mechanical, to complete assembly tasks.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Use specialized tools and fixtures electrical and mechanical to complete assembly.
  • Read and understand electrical diagrams and perform various electrical wiring tasks.
  • Able to use various machines including drill press, threading machine, cut off saw, etc.
  • Operate overhead cranes, chains, slings, clamping devices, presses and porta power.
  • May need to operate power equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts.
  • Able to perform some Mig welding tasks as needed.
  • Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
  • Perform assembly work in Fluid Recycling and other assembly areas as directed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and P&ID drawings and use basic shop math including decimals and fractions.
  • Able to read and follow engineering drawings, assembly procedures, instruction manuals and material/pick lists to complete assemblies.
  • Prior machine assembly/small engine experience a must.
  • Must have experience in plumbing/filtration with pipe fitting experience.
  • Ability to cut, fit and thread piping.
  • Able to work in a safe manner dealing with heights, ladders and lifts.
  • Work in a safe manner dealing with powerful magnets and high voltage.
  • Must be able to multitask.

IT Analyst

 

Job Description:

The IT Analyst will perform detailed requirements analysis, document business processes, and generate specifications as required for all departments that utilize the company’s ERP and associated systems. The IT Analyst will work with these departments and effectively communicate with team members and other stakeholders, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and process improvements. The IT Analyst will monitor the feature enhancements of software upgrades, determine if any new functionality impacts the business, and work with team members to re-align the business processes as needed. Will be one of the primary end user support Analysts supporting the primary ERP and other 3rd party associated systems.

Additionally, the IT Analyst is responsible for workday reporting and analytics that the business requires. This involves analyzing, modeling and interpreting data from the company’s ERP system.

 

Education and Business Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or MBA in business or related field.
  • Two to four years of relevant business experience
  • Strong SQL/DB skills
  • Prior experience with Oracle JDE World, E1, Reports Now or Thoughtspot software a plus

Job Duties:

Digital Signal Process Software Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering.
  • Experience programming in C, C++, and Visual C++. C# is also desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing, troubleshooting, and testing real-time deterministic programs on a Windows based platform and other embedded platforms.
  • Must be able to learn all and have relevant experience specializing in at least one of the following:
    1. Multi-threaded and interrupt driven programs.
    2. Digital signal processing techniques.
    3. Networking and integrating equipment.
    4. Creating intuitive graphical user interfaces (GUIs) on a Windows platform.
  • Proficient using oscilloscopes, volt meters, and other electronic test equipment.
  • Able to read circuit schematics.
  • Capable of taking full responsibility for a product development project from inception to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to assist engineering, manufacturing, sales and customers.
  • Willing to travel on occasion.

Duties:

  • Design, write, and debug software for industrial inspection, sorting, and measurement equipment using various platforms such as Windows and other embedded systems.
  • Design, write, and debus software running on a PC to provide various functionalities including ability to communicate to equipment and software to test circuit boards.
  • Understand and design complex algorithms to analyze signals from inspection and other measurement equipment.
  • Control hardware to acquire signals with microsecond resolution and provide reject timing with millisecond resolution.
  • Use version control software and clearly document changes.
  • Manage portions of projects.

Mineral Processing Technologist

Description:

The Mineral Processing Technologist conducts primarily laboratory and pilot-scale testing on various separation equipment. In addition, significant time will be allotted to flotation testing and support of the flotation team.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree or Two-year technical degree is required.  High-school diploma with significant relevant work experience may be considered. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Obtain, measure and prepare samples for testing.  Conduct routine testing.
  • Conduct the separation tests under the direction of metallurgists or other professional.
  • Set-up, operate, and clean laboratory and pilot-scale equipment.
  • Record, analyze and report results neatly, efficiently, and accurately.
  • Produce charts, graphs, and data for reports.
  • Use computer skills to develop spreadsheets and databases for tabulating and reporting results.
  • Return or dispose of client samples.  Must understand safe handling and storage of various chemicals used for flotation and other separations.
  • Work from sketches, detailed specifications, and verbal instructions.
  • May be assigned to manage projects independently.
  • Work closely with customers (face-to-face and/or through correspondence) during test programs.
  • Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.  Repair equipment when necessary.
  • Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Technical Sales Representative - International Sales

 

Qualifications:

  1. Four-year Degree, Bachelor of Science, Business Management, Engineering or eight years equivalent related experience.
  2. 3-5 years applicable sales/marketing experience, preferably industrial equipment in process industries.  
  3. Ability to work with individuals at all levels, customer, representative and internally with little supervision.         
  4. Excellent communication skills including business and technical writing.  Able to handle details of equipment sales, including commercial and technical issues and work effectively under pressure.
  5. Must be willing to travel, mostly internationally, as necessary (typically 30-35%, may be more from time to time)
  6. Experience with personal computers, word processing and spreadsheet applications required.
  7. Exceptional language skills required.  Must be highly proficient in the Spanish language, written and spoken.  Other languages a plus.
  8. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and eligible to obtain any and all travel visas required. 

Job Duties:

  1. Work closely with representatives and customers by phone, mail, and in person to solve problems.
  2. Recommend and price the appropriate equipment for the customer’s application.
  3. Work closely with Engineering and Technical Center personnel to solve application problems.
  4. Travel with field representatives and make sales calls and sales presentations to get orders for all product lines in Latin America and other territories as may be assigned.
  5. Train customers and new reps in pricing and applying Separation, Vibratory and Metal Detection, and Mining equipment.
  6. Occasionally perform start-up and service calls.
  7. Act as liaison between customers and reps in the field and various Eriez home office departments.
  8. Be familiar with the policies, products, pricing, etc., of the markets served by the Company and the sales department and assist as necessary.

Engineering Manager - Mechanical Group

 

Description:

  1. Design and Engineer custom equipment to fulfill customer order requirements.
  2. Supervise Engineers and Designers to complete customer orders and projects on schedule.
  3. Perform all necessary calculations required to ensure that the equipment will operate reliably in the field
  4. Participate in Corporate growth programs and product improvement/standardization programs

Education and Experience:

  1. Minimum BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. 15+ years of experience in machine design.
  3. Experience with 3-D CAD software or other analysis software.
  4. Project management and supervisory experience.

Qualifications:

  1. Possess the ability to understand how the assigned product line is to function from a theoretical point of view.
  2. Possess Machine Design experience with the ability to review existing and new product designs from an engineering point of view and determine the critical components or design features that require engineering calculations.
  3. Possess the ability to perform the necessary engineering calculations and establish engineering guidelines to design reliable, cost effective equipment to fulfill customer requirements.
  4. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills to relay clear, concise information to supervisors, co-workers and outside parties (customers, subcontractors, etc.).
  5. Demonstrated experience in the area of engineering drawing review, efficient manufacturing procedures as well as an understanding of ANSI/AWS documentation practices for proper drawing dimensions, tolerances and symbols.
  6. Experience in a supervisory position.
  7. Ability to guide professional colleagues through complex customer orders and assigned projects.
  8. Possess the ability to manage short and long term projects that require team work between coworkers and departments.
  9. Demonstrate a level of creativity and ingenuity, as well as problem solving skills, to provide reliable, cost-effective solutions to design issues.
  10. Willing to travel when necessary.

Job Duties:

  1. Review sales orders and determine from accompanying specification sheets the amount of engineering and design resources required to complete the order. This includes interfacing with Sales to ensure that specification sheets are complete as well as to obtain the necessary information required to design the equipment to customer expectations.
  2. Schedule customer orders through the Engineering Department and maintain an order schedule.
  3. Supervise engineers and designers to modify existing equipment designs and produce new equipment designs based on customer requirements.
  4. Perform necessary engineering calculations to ensure reliable equipment operation in the field.
  5. Ensure that all necessary drawings are produced to manufacture the equipment and ensure that all drawings are properly stored in the vault
  6. Review critical drawings for accuracy and efficient manufacturing. Enforce ANSI/AWS documentation practices for proper drawing dimensions, tolerances and symbols.
  7. Evaluate product lines for third party certification (UL, CSA, CE). Determine the scope of the project and resources necessary to perform certification. Interface with third parties and follow project to completion.
  8. Ensure that adequate staffing levels are maintained.
  9. Evaluate equipment issues on the shop floor and in the field, and provide solutions to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  10. Proactively review product lines to standardized where possible, implement the latest technology into existing product lines, improve product reliability, increase manufacturing efficiencies and reduce costs.
  11. Travel on occasion to field installations to evaluate and trouble shoot equipment issues.
  12. Perform tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.
  13. Communicate concerns and questions to immediate supervisor.

Research and Development Magnet Design Engineer

 

Education and Experience:

Position requires a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience in magnet circuit design.

Qualifications:

  1. Possess a strong analytical background with the ability to mathematically model static and dynamic system
  2. Possess the knowledge of fundamental principles of electro-magnet design
  3. Possess the knowledge of fundamental principles of permanent magnet design
  4. Possess the ability to mathematically analyze magnetic circuits using textbook solutions and FEA tools.
  5. Possess the “hands-on” skills to set-up and test prototype magnetic circuits
  6. Possess experience in designing and manufacturing oil filled, potted, and dry magnet coils, including experience with coil winding processes
  7. Possess good communication and technical writing skills
  8. Work in a team environment on R&D projects that lead to new and improved product lines
  9. Willing to travel up to 10% 

Job Duties:

  1. Design permanent magnet circuits, electro-magnet circuits, and electro-permanent magnet circuits for magnetic separation equipment, vibratory conveying equipment, and magnamation equipment.
  2. Construct 2-d and 3-d magnetic models of new and existing magnet circuits using INFOLYTICA FEA software to evaluate circuit performance (static and dynamic).
  3. Evaluate power requirements and thermal effects for static and dynamic operation of magnetic separation equipment due to eddy currents and operating heat losses. 
  4. Evaluate and specify permanent magnet materials for magnet circuits
  5. Conduct lab tests to verify magnet circuit designs
  6. Evaluate magnet vendors and provide test procedures to inspect new magnet materials
  7. Work with the Central Test Lab to ensure that magnetic separation tests conducted on lab equipment will simulate actual field operation with thermal losses.   
  8. Provide technical support to Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service for new and existing magnetic product lines. 
  9. Provide technical assistance to the Sales Department for field application  
  10. Perform other duties as specified by immediate supervisor.
