MACSALAB Tailings Test Magnet

Eriez Magnetic Hand Test Samplers are manufactured in Stainless Steel. A sliding magnet permits quick and easy separation for laboratory as well as on-plant tests.

Units are available with the following magnets:

BaFe
R.E.

The approximate Magnetic Strengths are as follows:

BaFe - 1370 Gauss
R.E. - 3150 Gauss

Instructions

With magnet fully inserted in housing, place end in tailings stream for ± 10 seconds.
Remove unit and examine magnetic particles adhering to the unit.
Extract plunger to remove magnetic particles.
