Tailings Magnets
MACSALAB Tailings Test Magnet
Eriez Magnetic Hand Test Samplers are manufactured in Stainless Steel. A sliding magnet permits quick and easy separation for laboratory as well as on-plant tests.
Units are available with the following magnets:
- BaFe
- R.E.
The approximate Magnetic Strengths are as follows:
- BaFe - 1370 Gauss
- R.E. - 3150 Gauss
Instructions
- With magnet fully inserted in housing, place end in tailings stream for ± 10 seconds.
- Remove unit and examine magnetic particles adhering to the unit.
- Extract plunger to remove magnetic particles.
