Rare Earth Roll Magnetic Separator - Plastics and Rubber Industries

Concentrated, high-intensity permanent magnetic fields combine with the force of gravity and controlled feeding to remove weakly magnetic materials.

Rare Earth rolls have been able to remove ferrous dust, 300 series stainless steel(work hardened) chrome plated plastic regrind and certain sized aluminum flakes.

These powerful separators are available in one, two and three roll designs with roll widths ranging from 10 inch to 60 inch.

They are ideal for plastic blow molders, injected molders and co-extruders doing multi-material molding.  By incorporating the PolyMag^® additive in one of the resins, scrap parts and trim can be granulated with the mixed resin regrind and magnetically separated to save valuable plastic materials cost.
