Eriez Grates protect your equipment and product purity by removing fine and weakly magnetic contamination from dry, free flowing products. They are designed for steep-sloped hoppers, even with odd and irregular shapes, floor openings, vertical closed chutes, and ducts. Styles include Tube Magnets, Hopper Grates, Drawer Grates, Wing Grates, Grate-in-Housings, Easy-to-Clean and Self-Cleaning Grates.

Traps are used to purify products in liquid and slurry lines by removing small particles of scale, oxides and iron contaminants. Easy to inspect and clean. Sizes for pipelines from 1/2 to 18 inches (13 to 457 mm). Rare Earth elements available. Available in sanitary construction.

Rare Earth and traditional permanent plate magnets remove ferrous tramp metal contamination from bulk granular ingredients in chutes, spouts, ducts and conveyors. Eriez’ standard plate magnets include a milled 400 series stainless steel tapered step that concentrates the magnetic field to enhance magnet holding force over other step designs.

The extremely sensitive E-Z Metal Detector detects ferrous and nonferrous metals down to one-half millimeter in size. Detection takes place as the feed material passes the center of the aperture. Metal contamination is recognized and a signal is generated, activating a reject device.

AC-operated, electro-permanent magnetic drive bin vibrators efficiently move sticky, stubborn, hard-to-handle bulk materials through hoppers, bins or chutes. Simple, compact controls adjust vibrator output to product variations. There are no sliding or rotating parts to wear out or require lubrication.

Mechanical Conveyors are highly efficient, single-mass conveyors, and are designed to move light loads of bulk material reliably and economically. A wide range of models are available to move products.

The magnetic collection of fine particles requires a high intensity, high gradient magnetic field. An electromagnetic matrix type separator, referred to as a magnetic filter, has proven to be the most effective method of separation.

Magna-Rail magnetic elements, positioned under conveyor belts, provide a positive hold for ferrous packaging at high speeds and up inclines as steep as 90 degrees.
