Model 1241 Metal Detector

The Model 1241 is designed for applications where large sensing coil apertures and high metal sesitivity are required.

It is particularly suited to scanning whole logs on conveyors or chutes. It detects all tramp metals: magnetic and non-magnetic (ferrous and non-ferrous). Maximum sensitivity will generally be in the range of 1 1/2% of aperture height (distance between transmitter and receiver coils). Since the sensing coils consist of two separate flat (board shaped) elements, they can be installed in any attitude (horizontally or vertically), depending on individual customer requirements.
