Drawer Type Magnetic Grates

Simple, cost effective magnet assembly incorporates Erium™ Ceramic or Rare Earth Tube magnets into a grate assembly to remove ferrous contamination from free flowing products as it cascades through the grate.

Eriez manufactures standard grate assemblies for use in a customer manufactured grate housing or existing chute but will custom manufacture anything to fit your installation requirements. Typical units include stainless steel tie bars on each end of the tubes to “frame” the grate assembly along with an oversized door front so the grate assembly operates as a “drawer” magnet.

Optional features include deflectors to prevent product from flushing through the grate assembly, sanitary finishes for food or pharmaceutical applications, multiple magnet row assemblies depending upon specific separation efficiency requirements or handles and other customer specified installation attachments.
