Problem:
Protecting cone crushers and other downstream equipment from tramp iron was a major concern at the plant of the Arizona Sand & Rock Company in the southwestern United States.
Solution:
An Eriez heavy-duty Suspended Electromagnet
was mounted above the head pulley of their gravel conveyor. A hydraulic ram mount permitted rapid cleaning cycles. All tramp iron was reportedly eliminated from the gravel.
