Problem:
At a large U.S. borax plant, flow stoppages from a 200-ton (180 mt) storage bin occurred up to eight times per day. Small charges of dynamite were used to keep things moving.
Solution:
Eriez Bin Vibrators
replaced the need for dynamite. The vibrators were then actuated by starvation indicators atop Eriez
Vibratory Feeders positioned at the discharge of the bin.
